A message from Author and Illustrator Linda R. Larson:

MYTHOS:  Queer Legends of Greek Gods and Heroes
Greek Mythology was once the religion of an extraordinary culture whose ingenuity and superior intellect forged the foundations of the Western World. The ancient Greeks believed the gods played a major role in the lives of mortals, and their myths were used to explain every day life. Both natural phenomena and uncommon occurrences were the work of the gods. MYTHOS is a focused segment of a much broader subject depicting the stories of male lovers in Greek Mythology through narrative and more than fifty full color illustrations.

About the Author and Illustrator Linda R. Larson

Chicago native Linda Ray Larson has always felt an affinity to the ancient world and loved sword and sandal movies even as a child. At age 15, when struggling with her sexuality, she found a book about two young men in Ancient Rome who met in a remarkable way, and fell in love. The story was true, and it sparked a desire to learn more about their world. She discovered many other stories along the way. This small book is the result of her 40 year search into our hidden history.
